Update for upcoming weather.

Ok, the question has been asked are we going to get anything out of this system coming thru from Monday-Wednesday. At this point we look to be in the clear for the worst of it. Wednesday looks to be the time we may start recieving some snow. Too early for sure and don't be unprepared just in case things change or the models change the direction. Current track for the bad stuff is Central MO, Central Il, Central IN and Central OH. Southern Il and Southeast MO and Northern KY looks to be in the freezing rain area Tuesday. The freezing rain line appears to follow the Ohio River. Lets hope it stays on the other side. Update as new information becomes available. Remember you can go to my web site and click on the NWS link for update info as well.

Cold continues

I really did not want to write this but today begins a very long period of cold weather. Winter weather out look looks like it will stay cold for the two weeks and another arctic blast toward end of the month.

Monday looks likes little or no accumulation.  More snow to the south closes snow accumullations will be KY, TN border.  More of a dusting for our area.

Tuesday looks likely for a small snow event. more to the north and East though this could change depending on how the system tracks through the area.  Below is a snap shot of the system with the GFS model.  models have been fairly consistent between it and the NAM.  Have not checked the European though.

The next few weeks looks like the moisture/Snow starts to increase.

Will post more later.
